Sex And The City 2 Review
Sex and the City 2 was released May 27, 2010. For a long-time franchise fan such as myself, this sequel was a disappointment. The original installment of the film franchise embodied everything the controversial HBO original television series was about. Designers, labels, friendships, New York City, and of course, sex. The latest installment, however, left much to be desired in all of these areas. The iconic four characters spent most of the movie in Abu Dhabi, with a mere few scenes shot in the city itself. There was a great lack of controversy, hardly any sex, and the youthfulness of the previous movie and series was gone. To make matters worse, the writers resorted to unrealistic, cheesy lines in order to gain a few laughs throughout the nearly three hour disaster.
